Day 1 – Arrival
Arrival in Mafia Island at 17:15 pm, drive to your hotel for an overnight (a quick stop at the Marine Park Entrance gate for your overnight’s stay payment), later check in the hotel for your Half board meal plans.
Day 2 – Whale shark excursion
We will picked you up at 06:30 am for a swimming experience with the most humongous gentle sharks on earth, this excursion will take half to a full day, depending on how long it takes to track down the whale sharks, after that drive back to the hotel relax until evening, then head over to the diving centre for your diving schedule.
Day 3 to 7 – (10 dives package)
At 08:00am head to the diving centre for registration and gear, to bask in one of the most exclusive and pristine dive sites in the world on the third to the seventh days.
Please know that the diving schedule can be varied according to the tide of the day.
Day 8 – Mange or Kitutia Reef Sandbank & Snorkeling
The trip will start at 09:00 am, This tiny patch of dreams is surrounded by stunning tropical reefs teaming with colorful corals and fish. It is possible, if you look hard enough over the expanse of aquamarine water, to see the trees from our mainland Tanzania. Normally, we organize these trips as a full day that includes a light lunch and a shaded BBQ at the sandbank.
Day 9 – North of Mafia Light house Kanga beach
The lighthouse is situated on the northern most tip of Mafia Island. It has many historical properties and an incredible view while you are on the top of it. You can see miles of the spectacular Indian Ocean! On the way back, you will witness some amazing beaches as well as the beautiful site of the North part of Mafia Island. You will also have an opportunity for a light lunch and BBQ or a relaxing swim at the Kanga beaches.
Day 10 – Blue Lagoon
Depending on the tide the excursion can take place in the morning or evening you will be informed while you are in Mafia Island for blue lagoon / Natural swimming pool and chole Island Tour this is a half a day tour.
Day 11 – Departure
In the Morning relax as your get ready for your departure at 17:35 pm to Dar es Salaam, we will pick you up at 16:15 pm from the hotel to the Airport.
